The poster series We are More Than Thighs is an experimental project focused on representing important female characters in Latino history, as a response to the typical characterization of Latin females for their bodies. The characters represented in the We are More Than Thighs poster series are the well-known Mexican painter Frida Kalo and the Dominican political activist Minerva Mirabal.
